I. Who owns houses in Vietnam?

III. Dossiers required of individuals, foreign organizations to own houses in Vietnam

For foreign individuals: passport, permit for entry into Vietnam;

For foreign institutions: investment certificates or documents relating to the permitted activities in Vietnam.
IV. Procedures for foreign individuals to own houses in Vietnam
Step 1: Sign contract in sales and purchase, offering, renting, leasing .... houses, apartments.
Step 2: Apply for dossiers of purchasing / offering ... houses to the authorized state agency;
Step 3: Receive the notification on implementing the financial obligations to the tax authorities and district State Treasury (for the district), Provincial State Treasury to carry out such financial obligations.
Step 4: Submit receipts with fulfilling the financial obligations and receive appointment.
Step 5: Get results upon the appointment.
Implementation period: 30 working days (excluding the time for implementation of financial obligations on land)
